WHO DO YOU CARE ABOUT?
WHO REALLY MATTERS TO YOU?
WHAT CAN YOU DO TO PASS ON VALUES
?
Whoever comes to mind for you, I think it is important to reflect from time to time on the values we are passing on as a culture to those who DO matter to us. We hope you are thinking about the kinds of values that are worth writing down as a "Life Purpose Statement," something to really stand for and to live for.
Are these values in your will or trust? Are they in the wills and trusts of those persons who really matter to you?
How much are you leaving to your children and grandchildren? Is your estate plan designed to foster the values you think should be passed down to your heirs for honorable purposes? Are you leaving them too much which might contradict your values?
I am asking you to think about these concepts because these are the thoughts that move the souls of people. It is not the "how to's" of life or the checklists that move us. It is the BIG questions that move our souls.
I guess the question for you is this: Who matters enough to you to make you feel like you owe it to them to try to help them understand that they need to get what matters to them down on paper?
None of us will live forever in this life. I have lots of things I do not want left undone if I were gone. Do you?
Is it down in black and white? If not, how will it get finished if you leave early?
We give lectures each month to help people put down in black and white what is important to them. If there is someone or some cause in your life who matters, maybe they should attend one of our seminars and get it down in black and white?
Good luck in helping people finish their dreams!
